Fabulous Foto's of Funbug

During the days when I was singing professionally as my main source of income there were lots of pictures taken of me. A lot were really fun and some were a drag but here are some of my favorites.

Yup, hard to believe it, but that's actually me! Just a few, er a...well ok, several years ago BC (that means before Curlybug heh heh)This was one of my publicity shots that would be posted in the lobby of lounges and hotels where I sang. (And except for the fact that I'm 20 years older, quite a bit grayer, and a tad heavier, I still look exactly the same!) All these photo's were publicity photo's for various bands that I sang with over the years.

This is Hot Chili, a band I formed myself. We played a lot of 50's and 60's music. We later added another girl singer and changed the name to Hot Chili and the Tomatoes. Once when our name was up on a marquee, some guy came in wanting to know where the chili was! He thought he was gonna get food, but the bartender told him the chili was onstage and he stomped out mumbling about how hard it was to find good hot chili!

This was my first publicity shot ever. I think I'm about 18 in this one.

A couple of years later, gettin down!

The City was one of the last pop/rock bands I was in. This was just a year or so before I got married to my first husband and had my son Curlybug who is now 21 years old and hating that cute little nickname.
