I also wanted to share just a part of my spiritual pilgrimage. I am a Christian,and was raised in a Christian home, I am very thankful for that. I often feel that God spared me of alot of heartache in my later years. I had a wonderful Christian models at home. My Dad and Mother, were the godly parents that we all hope to be when we have our own kids. I always felt very blessed to have them for my parents.
During my life, I have gone through alot of physical trials. I have had alot of illness in my life, that has limited me. Some people I think could blame God for all of that. But I could not. My mother and Dad always read the chapter of James to me in the Bible. I believe it. It states that when we count our trials as joyous times, knowing that God is always there for you. It really strenghens your Faith as you live for Him.
"Count it all Joy when you fall into various trials. Knowing the testing of your faith produces patience." And I can say that I have literaly felt the arms of God around me, and guiding me along the way. He has been and will always be my Stronghold.
One of my favorite verses is in Philippians 3:12-14.
"Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold for me.
