Hi, my name is Darlene Logan I was born in Virginia some years ago I think I had a normal childhood I wasn't spoiled to say the least HA! HA!
My home town is Belhaven, NC. A quiet, laid back, retiree town (just what I'm beginning to need) located on the shores of the Pungo River. Belhaven is a town going up. You say, "Up Where"? Well, I mean up as in airspace. Because of past flooding, FEMA has litter-ly come to town and lifted us up. Houses and all.
I’m "CRAFTING" these days. Well I’m a crafter of sorts trying to make things to sell. Need to contribute to the family income. I take terra cotta flower pots, paint them and make cute little people out of them. Yes, people. Some even sport hats and clothes. They come in all sizes and shapes. I also paint beautiful scenes on the pots. I have made a table-top Hatteras Lighthouse night light with the pots.
"BACKYARD GOSPEL MUSIC" is my passion these days Singing and playing good "ole" gospel songs with my dear hubby and our gospel group "BACKYARD GOSPEL MUSIC". We have 4 members including myself We all enjoy singing and playing for the Lord. He has been good to us, blessing us with this gift the least we can do is share it with others. Lately we seem to be getting a lot of bookings however, we can always make room for one more.
I started playing the bass guitar in 2002 and enjoy it extremely. The guys pick on me when I miss a chord Hey, I don't care as long as they let me play. We play for area churches, events and nursing homes in our neighborhood. Out of all our listeners I believe that the old folks at the nursing home appreciate us the most. They are unable to get to any singing so the singing has to come to them. We love them much....
My husband and I are grandparents now. There are 6 little ones that visit us regularly and bring much happiness into our lives. I will share my family with you at a later date.
I also like collecting Nutcrackers and Calendar Plates I surf the Internet in my spare time searching for interesting material for my web pages.
