PACCO
The Parish Activities for Catholic Communication Organization, Houston, Texas has been in existence for 13 years. The organization was formed to provide social spiritual and recreational activities to young adults in their 20's - 40's. Today there is over 30 churches in the Houston area involved in this organization, with over 1200 members. PACCO is self-sufficient and does not rely on the Diocese or churches for financial support. Nonetheless, PACCO is represented on the Young Adult Advisory Board with the Houston-Galveston Diocese. PACCO consists of representatives from Catholic churches throughout Houston, as well as officers. Our goal is to unite Catholic young adults throughout Houston and remind them about the one thing that we all have in common--our faith. In fact, the board chose this biblical verse, "I am the vine, you are the branches" - John 15:5 - to represent PACCO.
