Ryan Michael Slattery was born in Manchester, England on February 10, 1986 to June and David Slattery. Ryan spent the first year and half of his life living at 11 Hartlepool Close, Rusholme, Manchester, England. At that time his Mum and Dad decided that they had irreconcilable differences and separated and came to Canada to live with his Mum. His father later returned to Canada to live somewhere in Ontario, but we do not know where, he has moved so many times and does not maintain any contact whatsoever with Ryan. Ryan and I lived in Waterloo, Ontario until August 1997 when we moved to Glen Burnie, Maryland and I married Lyle Brandon II.
Ryan is like many 13 year old boys and likes sports, music (mostly Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, U2 and some other groups), and girls (although he would prefer his mother not know about his one just yet)!!! Ryan is in 7th grade at Lindale-Brooklyn Middle School. He is participating in his school play "Robin Hood" and hopes to play the Sherrif of Nottingham. Last year he was The Pirate King in the Pirates of Penzance. Perhaps we have a budding actor here!!

Ryan had a great Christmas. His Grandmother came to visit from Canada and he got a portable CD player. Here he is bopping his way out of the basement after opening presents.
