Gregory Notations is about 70 pages of Gregory
Data compiled over a period of several years.Please allow several minutes
for document to load into Wordpad .Some of you will need to go to
the Wordpad menu at top of Wordpad Page click on View then on Options
and change to no wrap so you can view the info in Spreadsheet Format .
Notations was added on Jan.1 1999..Thanks to Paul Price for his hard work
on the Gregory Genealogy in 1998 and hope He works twice as hard in 1999.
We feel very fortunate to be able to place
on this web site a collection of information that was compiled over many
years by Mary Lou Wardlaw, for many years Mary Lou was Editor/Publisher
of the nonprofit GREGORY NEWSLETTER,. This list represents names
collected by her over many years and Mary Lou says "this is, hopefully,
verified information collected from marriages, wills, Revolutionary War
applications, etc. as listed in the "Event" column. It was my hope
that through the old GREGORY NEWSLETTER these Gregory people could be identified
and consolidated into family groups. By making this information available
to any and all it can still happen".
Many thanks to Mary Lou, for making this available and her husband Tom for his hard work in helping her. Tom, we are sorry that we could not get the document to show up like you fixed it, in the neat little rows and columns.
A brief explanation, the numbers to the
left, were necessary for entering data using database Alph4. The abbreviated
event tells what the record is about, the first name is the Gregory that
the record is about, the next names are the parents or the spouse and in
some cases, the spouses parents names, the last is the location where the
event took place and the record is available. I understand there are 3000
names in this list, the names are in alphabetical order, have fun. Please
note, we do not have the record, good luck.Since some have had problems
with the RTF file you can click on link below for HTML file but it will
not
have spaces between the informati
