What's new in the Stuart Family?

General Update (February 27, 2009)

After almost 3 years, another new update! This is written by Sierra and Jacinda.

In 2010 we are going to New Jersey for a family reunion. This year, we are planning to go to Wisconsin. At our Church (Landmark Tabernacle) we are in the middle of a building program to make our church larger so we can have more visitors come.

Well, about Silas. He has just turned 9. He is in fourth grade. He is into camouflage and he also loves animals, and hopes to become one someday (ha-ha). He wants to be a zoologist when he's older. His hobby is skateboarding (of course, it's a boy thing) and swimming. Silas spends most of his time playing with Jakob (our neighbor).

About the twins, we are 11 years old and in sixth grade. We are not into Hello Kitty or anything. We both are on the "B" honor roll this school year.

Now about Shaunessy, she has just turned fifteen on January 4th and is in tenth grade. She really loves books (mostly about mysteries and detectives, she also thinks she is one SOMETIMES) and always picks on her younger siblings J.K. She's good MOST of the time lol... She is an "A" honor roll student so far this year. She likes to play basketball. Right now she is on a annual ski trip (with Junior High and High School).

About our parents, my mom just turned 39 on February 5th. She loves coffee (especially Starbucks Coffee). My mom works with a friend named Andrea cleaning houses and she also babysits. About our dad, he works at the General Electric Company. He's good in math, and likes genealogy, and American History and also works on a website. He is 43 and his birthday is on August 9th.

General Update (June 23, 2006)

After 5 years, finally a new update! This is written by Shaunessy.

Next month we're traveling to Texas for a family reunion. Then we'll be going down south to visit the Alamo. After that, we're traveling north to Oklahoma to see one of uncles. Then we're going up north again to Colorado to visit my dad's niece and nephew. All in all, I think it will turn out to be a fun vacation. We're using our van so it might get a little boring, but I'll survive.

Well, about the twins, they just celebrated their ninth birthday on May 28, and are going into fourth grade when school starts up again. They both got "A" honor roll this past school year. Jacinda received the Christian Character Award at graduation, and Sierra received it the year before that. Obviously the judges haven't seen them at home. HAHAHA. Just kidding. They're pretty good MOST of the time. Or maybe that's just an older sister's opinion. They're really into Hello Kitty right now, and they're doing their whole room in all sorts of Hello Kitty stuff. They even painted all the walls in their room light pink!

Now Silas had his last birthday on October 30, and he's six going on three. Just kidding. He's going into second grade, and he also received the "A" honor roll. He's really into army stuff and cars. His bed is in army, and he has so many cars and tracks for the cars that you can't even count them. They're ususally all over the floor in his bedroom. HAHAHA.

As for me, my birthday was January 4,and I turned twelve. I'm going into eighth grade. I got "A" honor roll for three quarters and "B" honor roll for 1 quarter. I missed "A" honor roll for the last quarter by .1. Very disappointing. Spelling has been my favorite subject for years. Maybe that's because I've always aced the tests. HAHA. I'm not really into any character right now. I'm really into books, but I've always been into books. I love to read! There's never a time when I'm not in the middle of a book. I like more of the mystery and intrigue books. Like Nancy Drew, Hardy boys, Encyclopedia Brown, Sherlock Holmes or O.Henry. The library is my second home. HAHAHA. Just kidding.

Now about my mom and dad. Oh yeah, this is going to be fun. Well, my dad turned forty on August 9, and we had a big "Over the hill" surprise party for him. My dad works at General Electric. He loves math and science. He helped me on any subjects I needed help with, especially language reports and math. Sometimes when I'd say, "Dad, I need help," he would say, "I know you do,but we can't afford a psychiatrist." HAHAHA. He's fixed everything that we needed fixed. Like anything in our house or our vehicles. My mom turned 36 on February 5. She works at home, which is a lot of work doing six people's laundry, and she gets cappucino's like every night. She babysits a lot too. She's gotten really good at sewing, and sews me and the twins dresses, skirts, or jumpers with jackets. She even sewed Silas an army outfit with a hat! That's all for now.
