I Said A Prayer For You Today

I said a prayer for you today
And I know God must have heard ~
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word.

I didn't ask for wealth or fame,
I knew you wouldn't mind.
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.

I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day.
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.

I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small
But it was for His loving care
I prayed for most of all.

Send this to everyone you consider a friend.
A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure For our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy, and understanding. And makes the world we live in A Better and Happier Place.

I said a Valentine prayer for you and asked the Lord above
to fill your heart and bless your soul with the precious gift of love.

I asked Him for sincere love the kind that's meant to stay
Just like the generous love you give to those you touch each day.

I prayed for love from family and from every cherished friend
Then I asked the Lord to give you His love that knows no end.
