Buddy running

Last spring, Benjamin's class held a 1 mile run as part of their PE class. Here's the class getting ready for the race.

In the race, he trailed a girl in his class. Whenever he tried to pass, she would pull back out front. As they neared the end of the race, Benjamin made one last push, caught up with her and they finished in a tie at a time of 9 min. 6 seconds. When Benjamin ran the mile run in the fall of 2000, his time was 9:39, a good improvement.
