Tribute

from time to time we are forced by whatever reason to really decide who and what really means something.  This happened to me quite unexpectedly one cold day in November 2004.  I lost my Dad- Richard Thompson.  He was not too crazy about cats but he was supportive and helped out when I asked him to.  He built me a cattery which I thought was the best thing ever. He transported cat supplies to cat shows and was a great supporter for me.  He had a buddy Named kapula Razberry Beret of Adonis that just loved my Dad.....I would find them asleep together on the recliner and of course my dad would deny his "love" for the kitties.  My Dad has been a critic and a great supporter for me.  He tried to remind me from time to time that raising animals is  tough and unforgiving.  He tried to instill in me love of animals and respect for Mother nature.  I lost my Dad unexpectedly and it just proved to me that Life is too short and being kind each time is the only thing you can do to insure you have treated each person the way you want to be treated.  Being honest and fair is crucial in your dealings with people.  love your babies and love the people around you. When the Good Lord takes you; how do you want to be remembered??

The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want. He make me lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. he restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. thou prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runneth over.    Psalms 23 1-6,
