| WELCOME TO MY FAMILY TREE! In it you will find some who are famous, some who are not so famous and some just like the rest of us-still searching. I am assuming you are one of the latter, simply because you have accessed this site. Genealogy is an ongoing process. Some of it is very accurate and some is not. I have endeavored to make this as accurate as humanly possible. It is not ,however, without arguable errors. I have listed the sources of my information. You may check the online sources yourself. If you disagree with my findings, just email me and we can discuss it! I have also tried very hard to remove the names of LIVING individuals. I know I did not get all of them because of the sheer size of the file, however, anyone living whose name appears in this file and wants it removed , simply contact me and I will be happy to do so. Generally, anyone who is living and appears in this file is listed by name and possibly date of birth ONLY. I have also removed as many people born after 1900 AD, so none of my living relatives are listed. If you think you share a descendant of any of the families listed and want further information, I likely have some of it. Just send me an email. The tree begins with my Grandfather, Charles Earl Meredith, who was always a mystery to my family. Apparently , he wanted to disappear after parting company with my Grandmother( who was about the most wonderful person I ever knew) and was sucessful during his lifetime in doing so. Little did he realise his grandson would "dig him up". I would like to acknowledge the wonderful work of a number of lookup volunteers who assisted in my research. Thank you ! You know who you are. I won't put your names in to avoid getting besieged by requests. Besides, giving clues may take away some of the fun you may experience finding your own roots.
