Meet The Birdies' Mom...

My name is Lisa, and I live right on the Gulf Coast of Mexico. Down South we have fabulous food, great weather, gorgeous white beaches and the nicest people you'd ever want to meet! I moved to Florida from Alabama in June 1999, so I'm quickly getting used to the beach lifestyle and living on "island time." I just love looking at the blue-green water and riding around on my WaveRunner!

My other hobbies include surfing the Internet, collecting cookbooks (I'll learn how to cook one day!), shopping, reading, listening to music and playing with my parrots. Right now I only have two, Gumbo and Taylor, but someday I hope to add an African Grey, an Eclectus, and a mynah bird (for my husband). Gumbo and Taylor, along with my dog Ty, are enough to deal with right now!
