I remember the day we met,
Lying there looking up at you.
My mind went somewhere else.
My heart raced.
For I knew then you were the one.
You asked me out.
My heart skipped a beat as i answered "yes".

The walks on the beach,
With the waves crashing at our feet
The sun bounced of your golden hair

The caring eyes
The way your smile lite up the room
The way you always knew how to make me smile
even if i was down.Your would bring me up
I remember
The late night talks
When everyone else was asleep
We talked for hours
About nothing in particular

I always counted on you
You are my friend, my life
Even after a wonderful life
of laughter,joy,tears and even pain.
8 beautiful kids, 41 grandkids,22 great grandkids so far,
I still remember the day we met
