I have discovered many things while editing the Ross family cookbook. I never knew, for instance, that this family had such a love for chicken. It wasn't a surprise, however, that desserts was such a large section. I enjoyed the little stories which went with some of the recipes and I have a feeling that we could write a book with some of what wasn't said.

I suggest that you pass this book on to your children. With the recent digestive problems that some of us are experiencing as we age, they are the only ones who can enjoy the recipes anyway.

Thank you to Mom who must have instilled a love of good food in all of us. At least we think we thank her for that love of food, because it can be both a blessing and a curse.

You may notice that spaces were left after many of the recipes. This was done so that each recipe could be on one page and hopefully in one column. With the exception of some of Brian and Susan's long recipes, this was usually possible. Please make use of those spaces by adding notes, comments, memories, etc.

Finally if you have changes or feedback please address them to me. I will keep the information and send out a correction sheet as necessary. I will also make corrections to the origional document before I publish it and make my second million. (I gave up on my first.) Enjoy!!!
