Justin Tandan Schumacher,

whose life was cut short, at the age of 16,
by a Drunk Driver,

2/25/1980 to 7/25/1996.

Your soul has been unchained, you are free to go.
I know not where you're going & perhaps I'll never know.

I'll remain on earth, until I too shall leave,
Then we'll be together, that I must believe.

My friend, I miss you now & know I always will,
Until my life is over & my body's still.

I envy you dear friend for your chance to flee,
I wish that I was with you. I wish that I was free.

Spread your wings, soar into the sky.
Take flight my love, here's your chance to fly.

Touch the highest mountain, sit upon a cloud.
Do all the things, never before allowed.

Your wings are strong, as your hearts the same.
Be yourself, live up to your name.

My love will remain with you on your flight.
Take advantage of the day, live on through the night.

Now you are an angel, as you were before.
Never shall you cry, once thru Heaven's door.

I love you, friend, but I know you had to die.
Wait no longer, free yourself & fly.

Wings

I'm looking down from heaven, at all the pain below.
I remember how life used to be and how time moved so slow

Life was never easy, but now I've flown away.
Earth for me's no more and there I'll spend not one more day.

Waiting for wings while alive, but I needn't wait no more.
God's taken me into His arms and in thru Heaven's door.

There's tears below and I remember crying too.
Self-inflicted pain and what I put me thru.

The clouds my only company, with loved ones by my side.
The end of loneliness, no more need for pride.

Thanking God for taking me from hell.
Wishing I could share the joy, to the world I'd tell.

The greatest love I've known, & peace with which it brings.
I'm off to see eternity, for now I have my wings.

Stairs of Heaven

I am looking forward to the day,
When together at last we will be.
And it is not far away,
I wish that I could make you see,
He is waiting, he is watching.

When I climb the stairs of heaven,
I shall walk the length to him,
Another lifetime given,
A new chance to begin.
He is waiting, he is watching.

And there is so much to say,
So many moments missed,
But I have come a long way,
I have lived my life for this.

No regrets, no more tears,
We shall one again,
Hold him in our arms,
This I promise to you!!!!
