Our Wonderful Daughter

Courtney Brooke Lawson

Brooke has been a very loved, and probably spoiled, young lady since her arrival on this earth on September 21, 1977. Not only by her mother and I, but her brothers, Bucky and Bruce also. I must say at this point that she has handled it well however. We are all very proud of her as a daughter, sister and friend.

After graduation from Radford High School in June 1995 she began her Undergradulate Studies at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. in September 1995. While in High School she was active as a Class Officer, SGA, Bobcat Marching Band, and Varsity Basketball among other things. She was also a member of the Homecoming Court in her Junior and Senior years.

As a Christian, she was also active in the Youth Groups of her church, the First Baptist Church, Radford, VA.

At Mary Baldwin College she is a Senior, Sept. 1998, majoring in Business Administration with and emphasis in Marketing, and and Minor in Communications. Some of her activities and accomplishments while at Mary Baldwin are:

SOPHOMORE YEARMember - Varsity Basketball Team. Dean's List, 1st semester. Honor's List, 2nd semester.

JUNIOR YEARPeer Advisor. Phi Beta Lambda (Business Club). Named to the President's Society. Honor's Schalors Society.

SENIOR YEAR Peer Advisor Phi Beta Lambda (Business Club) President's Society Honor's Schalors Society

After graduation from Mary Baldwin in May 1999, Brooke accepted a job as Assistant District Manager with Telmark, Inc and is located in Dover, Deleware, where she also lives.
