We just moved in! Please read my story!
Hello, my name is Charlotte. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. I have HD (Huntington's Disease). My husband, George, had a liver transplant. We have two daughters that take care of us since my husband and I no longer drive and are basically bed-ridden.
My favorite t.v. shows include: Rosie O'Donnell, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, The X-files, and all the CBS soap operas. I love to play cards, especially Uno. I miss going to bingo and seeing my friends there. I also miss going to Rick Springfield concerts!
Mentally, physically,and financially--my family has been through alot of difficult times. Our faith, family, friends, and well-wishers have been our saving grace. Without them, we could not have traveled this long and difficult road.
God bless all those that have helped and prayed for us. Please pray for a cure for Huntington's. God bless all those that are doing the research--especially Nancy Wexler!
