I found a snail in the hallway of my dorm at college. I knew it must have come from an aquarium, but I asked all the guys on my floor and none of them keep snails. So, I have a new pet that I know nothing about. I found a really good site on the Internet- something like www.huizen.dds... I don't remember it all, but it's about apple snails and it has appeared in all my searches. But I'm still very much in the dark about raising a snail as a pet. I'm glad to know that there are snail enthusiasts out there. f you could enlighten me, it would be much appreciated. I do know that it is not a garden snail and possibly an apple/mystery snail. It just had 8 babies too. I have no idea what to do with them. Everyone at college is surprised I haven't killed it yet. S , Cheerio! Seth
