"FRISCO"

Frisco is a pacific parrotlet (forpus coelestis). He hatched on July 10, 1998 at the Parrotlet Ranch in Santa Cruz, California.

Here are some other pictures of parrotlets like Frisco.

It's a boy! Pacific parrotlets can easily be identified as male or female by their coloration. Frisco is green with a bright blue streak near his eyes which makes him a male.

A LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR BIRD

Frisco is a very tame bird who loves to play on his swing. He loves to have his head feathers preened and is getting used to playing on a play gym located outside of his cage. His favorite food is millet which is not unusual for a parrotlet. He also likes to eat his vegetables and fruits from a kabob type feeder/toy. At night, we cover his cage. He prefers to sleep on a perch next to a plush "birdie buddy" vertical bed.
