Vacation 1998 . . .
Ok, so this year we went kind of cheap, and we stayed in northern Michigan. We saw fireworks in Rose City (and nearly went up in flames!!!), cruised through St. Ignace, dropped by the chapel in Indian River, and shopped for Beanie Babies in Mackinac. We rode our bikes around the block almost every day (around the block is about 4 miles). We played lumberjack and cut down several trees. I also built an awesome bonfire or two. Perhaps this wasn't as thrilling as some years, but life is what you make it, isn't it?
So, here are the happy, happy children in Indian River.
And below you will find us enjoying the freezing cold water of Lake Huron . . .
