S. Lee Hopkins

S. Lee Hopkins was born 9-5-1882 in Kansas. He was the son of Reiley and Mildred (Ellis) Hopkins. He married Mamie Westfall, my father Walter Edward "Ed" Westfall's half sister, the daughter of my grandfather Jasper Mifflin Westfall and his first wife Mary Jane (Shannon) Westfall. She was born 3-7-1885 near Coyville, Wilson County, Kansas. She died 2-5-1959 in Alton, Madison County, IL. She married S. Lee Hopkins in Kansas. He died 6-5-1958 in Alton, IL. Lee Hopkins worked at Duncan Foundry in Alton, IL.

Lee and Mamie (Westfall) Hopkins had 4 children-Clifford Leo Hopkins, Maynard Hopkins, Bessie Hopkins, and Velda Hopkins.

(1) Their son Clifford Leo Hopkins was born 7-15-1904 in Yates Center, Woodson County, Kansas. He died 4-15-1980 in California. He married Verna Mae Scroggins in Wood River, IL She was the daughter of William Leslie and Mary Elizabeth Scroggins. She was born 5-19-1907 in Godfrey, IL, and died 9-23-1971. They moved from Alton, IL to California in 1949. Clifford and his wife Verna Mae (Scroggins) Hopkins are both buried in Westminster Memorial Park Cemetery in Westminster, CA.

Orville and Frances (Tucker) Hopkins had 2 children-Sharon Kaye Hopkins born 1-21-1960 in Orange, CA, and Maynard Keith Hopkins born 11-16-1964 in Westminster, CA. Orville was an Ordained Minister for over 50yrs. He also, was a superintendent at the postal service for some time, after being in the Army and attenting Baylor U., at Waco TX. Orville and his wife are both buried in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA. Orville and Irene (Tucker) Hopkins's children Sharon Hopkins and Maynard Hapkins were unmarried as of 2006 and lived in Riverside, CA.

He is buried in Whittier, CA at Rose Hills Cemetery.

(3a) Clifford and Verna Mae (Scroggins) Hopkins's daughter Norma Jean Hopkins was born 3-25-1934 in Alton, IL. She married Frank Henry Halbardier 3-27-1955 in Midway City, CA. He was born 4-23-1932 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Henry and Alvina (Zeinert) Halbardier. Frank was in the Marines when Norma Jean met him in Santa Ana, CA. He was stationed at El Toro Marine Base and had his basic at Oceanside, CA. Frank worked for the city of Westminster for years and I was an employee of the Westminster School District..working with children for almost 35yrs.

Cory was married, Oct. 16, 2005, to Valerie Jean Wilkins.

(2aa) Frank and Norma Jean (Hopkins) Halbardier's other son Richard (Rick) Kevin Halbardier is married to Kathy Sue Huber. They have no children. Rick and Kathy own a winery in northern NV at Genoa. The name is Tahoe Ridge Winnery and Marketplace. Kathy is, also, Director of Small and New business' in northern NV, working from Carson, City, NV.

 Norma Jean's husband Frank Halbardier was having health problems, so they left Westminster CA in 1992 and moved to a drier climate...the town is Pahrump, NV. It is 60 miles northwest of Las Vegas, NV. Frank has a sister Ruby who lives in Caseyville IL, and her daughter and granddaughter also live there.

(2) Lee and Mamie (Westfall) Hopkins's son Maynard Hopkins was born 11-7-1909 in Kansas. He died 1-18-1933 in Illinois. He was unmarried.

(3) Lee and Mamie (Westfall) Hopkins's daughter Bessie Hopkins was born 3-25-1911 and died in Dec. of 1997. She married Bert Lawson born 2-6-1909, the son of John and Mary (Morton) Lawson. He is also deceased. They had a daughter Patsy June Lawson born 10-25-1935. She married Joseph Vandergriff born 9-20-1934. They had 2 children-David Edward Vandergriff born 12-26-1961, and Brad Lee Vandergriff born 2-26-1965. Bert and Bessie Hopkins and their family lived in the Alton, IL area.

(4) Lee and Mamie (Westfall) Hopkins's daughter Velda Hopkins was born 5-17-1923 in Alton, IL. She married Edward Trice born 12-21-1920 in Barlow, Kentucky, the son of James and Elnora (Commines) Trice. They had a daughter, Judith Trice born 9-17-1940. She married Donald Hodapp born 7-18-1934, the son of Walter and Elizabeth Hodapp. They had 3 daughters-Linda Kay Hodapp born 9-22-1961 in Breeze, IL, Starla Lyn Hodapp born 8-23-1965 in Alton, IL, and Deanna Sue Hodapp born 3-14-1970 in Alton, IL.

Henry Wiegand

Henry Wiegand was born 6-9-1817 in Heener Hessen, Germany. He died 3-4-1882. He is buried in the Wiegand Cemetery north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. The farm on which the Wiegand Cemetery is located was owned in 1980 by Mrs. Raymond (Hattie) Titus. Her son William Titus farms the farm. The farm is on the Mississippi River side of Calhoun County, overlooking the Mississippi Valley. The William Obst farm is nearby, and he knew the Wiegand family well. The log cabin where Henry Wiegand raised his family on their family farm was still standing as of 1980. Henry Wiegand's stone reads: I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.-Timothy, Chapter 4, vs. 7 and 8. He was a circuit rider and preached from place to place by horseback. Henry Wiegand's father was from Alsace Loraine, Germany and died at age 88 (date of birth and burial place unknown). His mother was part French. Neither of his parents came to this country.

Henry Wiegand married Martha Elizabeth Fisher 9-27-1839 in Mulsengen Kr. Rothenburg, Germany. She was born 12-21-1821, and died 7-23-1867. After his first wife Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's death, Henry Wiegand sent for a wife from where he was born in Germany to help raise his family. Maria Barbara Niefer was sent from Notsengen Konegreich, Wortenburg, Germany and she and Henry Wiegand were married 4-7-1869 in Calhoun County, IL. There were no children from this union. Maria was born 9-27-1836 in Germany, and died 12-8-1911. After Henry Wiegand's death she married a man by the name of Schlicker from Fosterburg, IL. They had no children. She was buried at Fosterburg, IL. She was a good mother to the Wiegand family and raised Henry's children.

Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand had 9 children-Albert Lafayette Wiegand, John Adam Wiegand, William Wiegand, Anna Christianna Wiegand, George Frederick Wiegand, Sarah Jane Wiegand, Matilda Wiegand, Philip Kuhl Wiegand, and Emma Louise Wiegand.

(1) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's son Albert L. Wiegand was born the 15th of Jan. 1859 in a log Cabin on his father Henry Wiegand's farm north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. He died Sept. 5, 1944. His funeral services were at the Methodist Church in Jerseyville, IL with Rev, C. C. Dawdy. pastor, officiating, with Rev. M. S. Foltz, pastor of the church. He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL. Albert Wiegand taught in the schools of Jersey County, IL and also farmed. He owned a 120 acre farm west of Jerseyville, IL near his Uncle George Frederick Wiegand's farm, and later lived on Barr Street in Jerseyville, IL where he died. He married first Mary Alice Greambea born 3-17-1861, died 3-15-1889 of tuberculosis. She is buried in Squires Cemetery in Calhoun County, IL. Albert and Mary Alice (Greambea) Wiegand had a daughter Essie Estelle Wiegand. After his first wife's death Albert Wiegand married Lena Mary Weigel 10-7-1892 in St. Louis, MO. She was born 2-25-1872 in Brussells, Calhoun County, IL. She was the daughter of Jacob and Charlotte (Fester) Weigel. She died June 7, 1961 at Jersey Community ospital in Jerseyville, IL. She is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL. Albert and Lena (Weigel) Wiegand had 5 children-Clarence Wiegand, Lucille Wiegand, Everett Wiegand, Nina Wiegand, and Amy Wiegand.

(1a) Albert and Mary Alice (Greambea) Wiegand's daughter Essie Estelle Wiegand was born 11-23-1886 at Point Precinct in Calhoun County, IL. She died 9-18-1978 at Springfield Manor Nursing Home in Springfield, IL. Jacoby Bros. Funeral Home in Jerseyville, IL was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Her body was taken to the First Methodist Church in Jerseyville, IL where it 'lied in state' until her funeral. Her burial was beside her husband (Harry Weller) in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL. Essie Estelle Wiegand married Harry Weller 5-4-1910. He was born 9-23-1884, and died 4-22-1963. He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL on the Riggs lot. Harry and Essie Estelle (Wiegand) Weller had 5 children-Celia Mae Weller, Virginia Pearl Weller, Mary Margaret Weller, Ruby Fay Weller, and George Allen Weller.

(3aa) Harry and Essie Estelle (Wiegand) Weller's daughter Mary Margaret Weller was born 6-24-1915. She married Dr. John Rendok. He died 3-9-1968 and is buried in Springfield, IL. Dr. John and Mary Margaret (Weller) Rendok had an adopted daughter Lucille (Mickey) Rendok born 11-14-1956.

(4aa) Harry and Essie Estelle (Wiegand) Weller's daughter Ruby Fay Weller was born 1-23-1917. She died 5-16-1976. She married Al Greeling., and later married Delbert Reasons of Raleigh, IL. Al and Ruby Fay (Weller) Greeling had a son Richard Eugene Greeling born 9-1-1941. He lives in Laveen, Arizona.

(1a) Albert and Lena (Weigel) Wiegand's son Clarence Wiegand, 56, of Jonesburg, MO, son of the late A L Wiegand, Jerseyville, died December 16, 1954 at General hospital, Mexico, MO. He was born April 29, 1898. Prior to his lingering illness he was engaged in farming in MO.

The decedent is survived by his wife, Mrs Cleo Wiegand, Jonesburg; 3 sons, robert and Gary, Jonesburg and Herbert, Alton; 2 stepsons, Thomas Montgomery, Jonesburg and Eugene Montgomery in Military service, stationed in San Antonio, TX; his mother Mrs Wiegand, Jerseyville; 4 sisters, Mrs. Harry Weller, Roodhouse, Miss Amy Wiegand, Jerseyville, Mrs Lucille Pegaram, Jerseyville and Mrs Dean cooper, Alton, and 1 brother, Everett Wiegand, Alton.

The body was brought to the Harding Funeral Home at Jonesburg and then to Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Services were held at the Methodist Church, December 18, with Rev F W Schwarzlose officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Clarence Wiegand married Edna Elizabeth Haushalter 4-7-1920 in Jersey County, IL. Clarence and Edna (Haushalter) Wiegand had 3 children-Doris Eileen Wiegand, Robert Wiegand, and Herbert Wiegand. Clarence Wiegand married a second time in 1945 to Cleo (Routso) Montgomery. She was born 11-6-1916. She was the daughter of Dimitri and Catherine Routso. Her parents had emigrated to St. Louis, MO from Albania in 1913. She had been married previously and had 2 sons, Eugene Montgomery and Thomas Montgomery. After their marriage Clarence and Cleo (Routso) Montgomery Wiegand had a son Gary L. Wiegand.

Clarence Wiegand's first wife - Edna E. (Haushalter) Wiegand, 89, died January 11, 1982 at V I P Manor Nursing Home, Wood River, where she had resided. She was born in Jersey County and is survived by 2 sons, Robert of Bethalto and Herbert, Alton; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother, Ernest Haushalter, Jerseyville; and 1 sister, Clara Arnold, also of Jerseyville. Funeral services were held at Smith Funeral Home, Alton. Rev Richard Scott officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bethalto United Methodist Church.

(Note: Clarence Wiegand's first wife Edna E. (Haushalter) Wiegand was my mother Lovie (Kraushaar) Westfall's cousin. Her father John Adam Haushalter was a brother to my mother's mother Caroline Haushalter)

Her funeral was held from Mr. and Mrs. Edward Haushalter (grandmother and grandfather) to the Evangelical Church in Jerseyville, IL with Rev. C. R. Kuhlman officiating. Her burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL.

(2aa) Clarence and Edna (Haushalter) Wiegand's son Robert Wiegand, 71, died at 1:53 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Jan. 15, 1932, in Wood River to Clarence and Edna (Haushalter) Wiegand. He married the former Dorothy Marie Walden on Nov. 26, 1959, at the First Baptist Church in Bethalto. She survives. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the Korean War. He was employed at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft for 40 years and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union. He was an active member of the Bethalto United Methodist church, where he had participated in the choir, served as a Sunday school teacher, a trustee on various committees and was a member of Bethalto United Methodist Men. He served Boy Scout Troop 103 as a committee member and treasurer for more than 20 years, volunteered at the Hope Center and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, surviving are three children, a daughter-in-law and two sons-in-law, David and Barbara Wiegand, Sheryl and Randall Kutchma, all of Bethalto, and Cindy and Phillip Warren of Dexter, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Drury, Kellie (Warren) and Tyler Penn, Andrew, Abbie and Oliver Warren, James Ford, Joshua and Grace Kutchma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Delores Wiegand and Gary and Marilyn Wiegand; and other extended family.

Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kallal-Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bethalto United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Howard White officiating. Burial followed at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto with full military services by Alton VFW Post 1308. Memorials may be made to the Bethalto United Methodist Church.

He married Dolores Dean Kennedy 4-28-1950, the daughter of William and Elinore Kennedy. Herbert and Dolores (Kennedy) Wiegand have 2 children, Diana Radean Wiegand born 4-18-1956, and Lee Jerome Wiegand born 4-6-1959.

Gary and Marilyn Wiegand's son Jason Robert Wiegand was born 12-14-1975. He married Brigette Laspina in August 1997. Jason and Brigette (Laspina) Wiegand have 2 daughters, Amber Wiegand born 9-6-1998 and Chloe Wiegand born 1-16-2002.

Gary and Marilyn Wiegand's daughter Kristi Lynn Wiegand was born 7-26-1979.

(2a) Albert and Lena (Weigel) Wiegand's daughter Lucille (Wiegand) Dabbs, born 07-02-1900, Jersey County, Illinois, died 24-03-1981, buried 25-03-1981, Oak Grove cemetery. Lucille Wiegand Dabbs, 81, died at her home in Jerseyville March 22, following an extended illness. Mrs Dabbs was born February 7, 1900 in Jersey County, the daughter of Albert & Lena (Weigel) Wiegand. She was a member of the Jerseyville Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, American Legion Auxiliary and United Methodist church of Jerseyville.

She is survived by 2 stepsons, Donald Beaty of Wisconsin, and Robert Beaty of Jerseyville; 8 step grandchildren; 1 step g-great grandchild; and 1 brother, Everett Wiegand of Alton. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Visitation was held at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. The body was moved to United Methodist church at noon Wednesday where visitation was continued until the hour of the funeral. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 25, at the church, with Rev. R. E. George officiating. Burial was at Oak Grove cemetery. Memorials may be given to Methodist church.

(3a) Albert and Lena (Weigel) Wiegand's son Everett Wiegand was born 6-11-1902 in Jersey County, IL. He married Weltha Belle Frost 11-6-1921 in Jersey County, IL. She was born 9-18-1899. They lived in Alton, IL. They had 2 children, Marilyn (Wiegand) Hartzog and Richard Alan Wiegand.

Dean and Nina Louise (Wiegand) Cooper's daughter Karen Cooper was born 2-16-1937. She married Axel Christiansen 1-17-1959. They have 3 children, Jeff Christiansen born 8-10-1961, Eric Christiansen born 9-25-1964, and Michele Christiansen born 7-6-1971.

(5a) Albert and Lena (Weigel) Wiegand's daughter Miss Amy Wiegand, died March 26, 1970 at her home on Barr Ave. She was a daughter of the late Albert & Lena (Weigel) Wiegand, was born in Jerseyville on December 13, 1893. Surviving are 1 brother, Everett Wiegand of Alton; 3 sisters, Mrs Essie Weller, Springfield, Mrs Arthur (Lucile) Dabbs, Jerseyville and Mrs Dean (Nina) Cooper, Alton. Visitation was from Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Services were held at the Methodist Church, with Rev W Louis Purcell officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

(2) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's son John Adam Wiegand was born 4-14-1843 in Erie County, Ohio, and died 3-21-1863. He was a Civil War Veteran and he took sick at camp and was sent to a hospital in St. Louis, MO where he died of pneumonia. He was buried in the Wiegand Cemetery near Batchtown in Calhoun County, IL.

(3) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's son William Wiegand was born 7-27-1840 in Erie County, Ohio, and died 3-9-1863. He was a Civil War Veteran and he took sick at camp and was sent to a hospital in St. Louis, MO where he died of pneumonia. He was buried in the Wiegand Cemetery near Batchtown in Calhoun County, IL.

(4) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's daughter Anna Christanna Wiegand was born 7-29-1848 in Scheboygan, Wisconsin. She died young. Date of death unknown.

(5) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's son George Frederick Wiegand was born 12-12-1850 in LaSalle County, IL. He died 2-10-1935. He is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL. He owned a 120 acre farm next to his brother Albert Wiegand's farm west of Jerseyville, IL. He later bought a fruit farm in Corning, California, and after that lived on Mulberry Street in Jerseyville, IL. He was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL. Nancy Wiegand, died at her home in Corning, CA on December 1, 1927. The body was sent to Jerseyville to Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev J B Cummins officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family was formerly from Jerseyville and she leaves her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs Mabel Weber and Miss Florence Wiegand of Corning, CA; and 1 son Carl Wiegand, Wood River.

George Frederick and Nancy (Squires) Wiegand had 4 children-Charles "Carl" Clinton Wiegand, Fern Alberta Wiegand, Mabel Wiegand, and Florence Wiegand.

(1a) George Frederick and Nancy (Squires) Wiegand's son - Charles "Carl" Clinton Wiegand, died 04-05-1971. C C (Carl) Wiegand, 82 years, 6 months, 22 days, former Jersey County farmer, now of Godfrey, died April 5, at Jersey Community hospital. He had been a patient for 2 weeks. Final rites were held at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev W Louis Purcell, pastor of United Methodist Church, conducted the service. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery. He was a son of the late George F & Nancy (Squier) Wiegand and was born in Calhoun County September 13, 1888.

Mr Wiegand engaged in farming in Jersey County for a number of years, and later he and his wife operated a grocery store in Hartford. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs S l (Lillian) Simms, Jerseyville and Mrs Neal (Gertrude) Sheppard, Bethalto; 11 grandchildren and 15 g-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, B Gladys Wiegand, 1 son, 1 grandchild and 6 brothers and sisters. Mrs Wiegand died in October 1970.

Charles "Carl" Clinton Wiegand's wife - Gladys (White) Wiegand, died 08-1970. Gladys Wiegand, 88, died Thursday PM at Jersey Community hospital. For the past 17 weeks Mrs Wiegand and her husband C C Wiegand, had been in Jerseyville at the home of their daughter and son-in-law Mr & Mrs S L Simms. On Mon they were both removed to Jersey Community hospital, Where Mrs Wiegand's death occurred. Mr Wiegand was dismissed on Saturday.

Mrs Wiegand, a daughter of the late George W & Nora (Larabee) White, was born at Rosedale, January 18, 1892. Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs Lillian Sims, Jerseyville and Mrs Neal (Gertrude) Sheppard of Bethalto; 1 brother, Beryl White, Collinsville; 11 grandchildren and 15 g--grandchildren. A sister, 1 son, Charles F Wiegand and 1 grandchild preceded her in death. She was a member of Elm St. Presbyterian Church, Alton. Funeral services were held at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Rev Charles H Collison, of Elm St. Presbyterian Church, Alton officiated. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

(3a) George Frederick and Nancy (Squires) Wiegand's daughter Mabel Wiegand was born 11-22-1882, and died 10-29-1930. She married William Fritz from Carrollton, IL. William and Mabel (Wiegand) Fritz had a daughter Flossie Fritz. William Fritz and his daughter Flossie Fritz are both buried in the Carrollton City, Cemetery, Carrollton, IL. The burial place of William Fitz's wife Mabel (Wiegand) Fritz is unknown.

(4a) George Frederick and Nancy (Squires) Wiegand's daughter Florence Wiegand was born 11-14-1897, and died 1-7-1964. She married a man who's last name was Johnson. They had a son Theodore Johnson who lives in California.

(6) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's daughter Sarah Jane Wiegand was born 9-13-1853 in a log Cabin on her father Henry Wiegand's farm north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. She died 6-16-1926. She married Daniel Foiles from Kampsville, Calhoun County, IL. He was born 9-13-1853 and died 6-10-1926 in Kampsvile, IL. Their children are buried at Summit Grove Cemetery, Calhoun County, IL.

(7) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's daughter Matilda Jane Wiegand was born 12-4-1856 in a log Cabin on her father Henry Wiegand's farm north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. She died 6-17-1946 in Alton, Madison County, IL. She married Levi Smith from Calhoun County, IL. Both are buried in the Hardin Cemetery in Calhoun County, IL. Levi and Matilda (Wiegand) Smith had 3 children, Mattie Smith, Mary (Smith) Wilson, and Ella (or Delah) Smith who had a daughter Leah that Matilda Jane raised after Ella's death.

(8) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's son Philip Kuhl Wiegand was born 12-4-1856 in a log Cabin on his father Henry Wiegand's farm north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. He died 1-22-1942 (other information says he may have died 1-22-1929 or 1-22-1939). He married Addie Nevies. She was born 6-13-1867 and died 1-4-1947. She had been married previously and had a son Ova Nevies born 3-12-1892, died 4-11-1974. He was married to Rosalie Frank of Kampsville, IL.

After their marriage Philip and Addie (Nevies) Wiegand had a daughter Beulah Wiegand born 9-19-1897. She married Meryle Perkins. Meryle and Beulah (Wiegand) Perkins had a son Sherryl Perkins who died at the age of 18, buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL in Philip Wiegand's lot. Beulah married a second time to Cleon Palmer. He died 9-14-1980. They had no children.

Philip and Addie (Nevies) Wiegand had another daughter Bessie Wiegand born 5-5-1902, died 12-1-1908, buried in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville, IL.

(9) Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's daughter Emma Louise Wiegand was born 12-4-1856 in a log Cabin on her father Henry Wiegand's farm north of Batchtown, Calhoun County, IL. She died 7-26-149. She married first to Sidney Cloniger. Sidney and Emma Louise (Wiegand) Cloniger had a daughter Masie Cloniger. She married William F. Fowler. He was born in 1898. William and Masie (Cloniger) Fowler had 3 children, Emmadell Fowler, William P. Fowler, and Herbert Earl Fowler.

Emmadel and her husband had 4 children, Lona Maren married Glenn Valin and they live in Alton, IL, Nola Karen Heintz lives in Lake Charles, LA, Dottie Enid Flora lives Pinellas Park, FL, and Marie Barbara Thiel lives in Douglas, WY.

William and Masie (Cloniger) Fowler's son William P. Fowler married Louise Honnika from Holland and they live in Missouri.

William and Masie (Cloniger) Fowler's son Herbert Earl Fowler married Norma Andrews and they had 2 children, Mark Fowler and Stasey Fowler. They live in Phoenix, AZ.

Henry and Martha Elizabeth (Fisher) Wiegand's daughter Emma Louise Wiegand married a second time to Joseph Jewsbury. He was born in 1872 and died in 1927. He is buried in Lax Cemetery West of Jerseyville, IL. Joseph and Emma Louise (Wiegand) Jewsbury had 2 children, Herbert Jewsbury born 11-27-1900, died 3-24-1903, buried Lax Cemetery, and another son Clifford Jewsbury still alive as of 1980.
