The future of our church rests on the belief, faith, conviction
and dedication of the present younger generation. Are we really preparing
this generation to shoulder their spiritual commitment and responsibilities?
Are they prepared to stand-up against the worldly challenges? The mission
of the Sunday school is all the more significant, important and challenging
in this context. This challenge, overwhelming at times, is the most important,
and often the toughest jobs assigned to us. Since the inception in 1905,
the Mar Thoma Sunday School Samajam played an important role in imparting
spiritual knowledge to the younger generation of our Church. The Sunday
School Samajam co-ordinates the activities of every Sunday School in the
Mar Thoma church with the aim of bringing each child more closer to Jesus.
The Mission: Since 1963, the Kuwait Mar Thoma Sunday school, under the Kuwait Mar Thoma Parish, in association with the Samajam, is consistently working for the last 30 odd years, helping our children to become Christ's hands and hearts in this sinful world, and to speak His gospel and serve as He would. The Witness: As another year passes by, we witness that Almighty God was with our Sunday school in all its endeavors, always leading and guiding us in fulfilling each mission entrusted to us irrespective of the limitations. Future Direction: Troubled times are ahead. Our faith will be tested. Lets help ourselves and our children, during this turbulent times, to live a life worthy to God. Lets help our children to be an example of the believers, in word and deed, in charity and in spirit, in faith and in purity. When it comes to faith, let's pray to God Almighty, to help us to guide and lead our children to "JESUS - The only Hope of this troubled World" in the future years to come.
