Greetings from Bangkok!
Spring 2001
We praise God for the growth of the church this past year. Three families have come into the Kingdom in the past ten months that have been a delight to our body. I am presently leading a men's cell group every Sunday afternoon that consists of the heads of families, the older men of our church. It has been a blessing to see them grow the past few months as we spend time together in the Word, confessing sin to each other and praying for one another. Our attendance and commitment has greatly increased among our men with this accountability .New Church
One big blessing this past year was the opening of our new church on the corner of a main street near our neighborhood. We are on the top floor of a four story building that is on the corner of a well known intersection. Our attendance has been climbing into the 40's. Jua's college age son Manoo was baptized this past Sunday after two months of studying with me. Most of the church was there for his new birth and after the baptism four nonchristians expressed a desire to become believers! We are following up with them. One of them is a man named Ut who I have been studying with the past few weeks. Please pray for his family that they will open their hearts to God.
Summer Camp
The middle of next month we will be hosting our yearly summer camp for our church. We are heading to the beach around four hours from here. It is a great time to invite friends to experience Christian love. Please pray for open hearts. We are all gearing up for our summer internship for the summer months as well as a two week campaign and a survey trip from a new team that the Lord is sending to the field
Family update
In family news we are thankful for the safety of our son Isaiah after his early arrival two months before his due date. He spent one month in NICU before coming home. He has been home for two weeks now and is doing well. We praise God for his life!
We thank God for you and your faithful prayers for our family.
