proposed Bicentennial Celebration of Jasper Marsh's Arrival

......
..
In 1811, Revolutionary War veteran Jasper Marsh and his family arrived at Jamestown, New York and settled down on lot near Stillwater Creek in the Town of Carroll (that part then subdivided into the Town of Kiantone), Chautauqua County, New York
..
......

Shall we have the bicentennial celebration near Jamestown, NY in summer or fall of 2011?

If so, the suggested events are as follows:

On Friday, there may be registration, genealogical corner, photo sessions, and reception
at either Town of Kiantone Community Center
or local church to which one of our local descendant belongs.

On Saturday, there may be DAR/SAR local chapters' Re-Dedicatation of Jasper Marsh's gravesite
in Stillwater Cemetery, photos of descendants at various gravesites in various local cemeteries,
potluck dinner/catered dinner/carryout dinner
at one of the places (Jasper Marsh's lot, Kiantone Community Center, or local church),
and more research at genealogical corner as needed.

On Sunday, there may be church service and farewell lunch.

Please send me any thoughts about this proposal.
