I have raised 4 ferrets. None have been in a cage. Why is there such a todo about caging your animals? I find mine to be friendlier and easier with other people (Vets incl.) if they have freedom to roam. Yes my house is ferret proof. I think it would
be like caging a cat or dog. I would own no other animal as a pet. I have lost the last ones to cancer. Glad I got two more. Wish CA would legalize them so I could move there.
