Dolphins and Shark

It is great fun, while out in our boat, to see the dolphins hunting and playing. Of course, while they are doing this, the fishing is no good because the fish do not want to turn into dolphin dinner. Therefore, they scatter to other parts of the sea. However, I get as much enjoyment from watching the dolphin as I do in catching the fish. Once a dolphin came up to the boat and banged against the side to say he was there and wanted some attention!

We have caught some shark while fishing! They were black tip, lemon shark, scalloped hammerhead, and great hammerhead, bull sharks and bonnethead. They ranged from 3' to 10' and they seemed to be this big! at the time! The black tip shark get their name because the tips of their fins are black. The lemon shark are a yellowish color, the hammerhead have the sledgehammer shape at the tip of the nose and the scalloped hammerhead the hammers are slightly rounded with a scalloped looking front edge, and the bonnethead have head shaped like a half cirlce. To see some of the ones we have caught, go to my "big catch album".

Sometime, I would like to catch a Great White but I am willing to wait a long time yet, to do this.
