As you have probably guessed, from my screen name, "shell hunter", one of my favorite hobbies, is to hunt and collect sea shells and other interesting items found on the beach such as coral, fossils, sharks teeth, etc.
The west coast is a great place to find shells of all types. Down here in Southwest Florida, we also get shells from the carribean, mexico and the pacific as well as the normal ones for the Gulf. There are so many varieties, colors, shapes and sizes to find! I am looking up all the names for my collection now. The pictures above, are a few of what I have in my collection.
