WHEN I WAS YOUNG.........
Here I am, only 12 hours old. I was born on Saturday, May 31, 1997 at Box Hill Hospital in Victoria, Australia. At birth, I weighed 8lb 7oz and my Dad gave me my first ever bath. I had to be induced and Mum was in labour for about 10 hours.

The ultrasound indicated that I was a girl (I must have had my legs crossed) so Mum and Dad got a really big surprise when I was born!

My first visitors were my Nan and Pop (Mum's parents) who got to see me when I was only 30 minutes old. When they came to the hospital, my Dad hadn't told them if their new grandchild was a boy or girl, so they got a surprise as well (they were a bit confused though because I was wrapped in a pink blanket!)
My full name is Adam John Christopher Payne. What significance does my name have? Well, Adam because my parents like the name (and it had to begin with A because of a tradition in my Mum's family), John because it is the traditional second name in my Mum's family (my Pop is Albert John, my uncle is Andrew John and my cousin is Alexander John) and Christopher after my Dad. My Dad also has two middle names so I am following in his footsteps!
When I was six months old, I had some professional photos taken. I think I look pretty handsome!

Not long after this, it was Christmas and I went to see the 'big, fat, red guy' as my Dad calls him. I didn't understand what it was all about but this year will be different!
I barrack for the Brisbane Lions Australian Rules Football Team - I even have a toy lion called 'Vossy', named after Michael Voss who is a really good player! Here I am in my footy jumper - bit big yet!
This is before I could walk - I would commando crawl around the room!
I love going to the zoo. I sit in my back pack and I can see all the animals. I especially like the elephants, otters and gorillas!
