I have an old pass, what can I do with it?

Your old ticket is still valid but only for the parks it was valid for when it was purchased. A pass purchased before the opening of the Disney/MGM Studios is still not valid at MGM or at Animal Kingdom. You can also exchange your old ticket for credit towards the purchase of a newer pass, but it is usually in your best interest not to do so. If your visit is 7 days, consider buying a 6 day All-In-One pass, and using your old ticket at the park where it is valid. If you are interested in an Annual Passport, use your old ticket on the first day, and buy the AP on your second day.

What was the 5 day World Hopper, and is it still available?

Prior to being phased out in , there was a 5 day World Hopper Pass. This pass provided 5 days admission to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney/MGM Studios. These 5 days did not have to be used consecutively, and unused days could be used on future visits. In addition this pass allowed 7 days admission to the minor Parks (River Country, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Discovery Island, and Pleasure Island). The 7 days were consecutive, beginning with the first day the pass was used at either a major or minor park. This pass was a favorite among guests, because if used effectively you could get anywhere from 5-12 days use from it. Sadly, this pass is no longer available. However there are rumors of tickets found from time to time at AAA or travel clubs/agencies, but reports are few and far between at this date.

Is there a shopping pass?

Yes, sort of. There is an option to enter one of the main parks for one hour in order to shop. You will need to request this option from the guest services window at the park entrance, do not go to the ticket windows. You will be asked for a credit card number, and will be given a time-stamped ticket. If you return to guest services within one hour of the time stamp, it is free. If you don't return within one hour, the price of a one-day admission ticket will be charged to your credit card.

What are the benefits of an Annual Pass(AP)?

There is a list of AP benefits on the Walt Disney World Information Guide, which is maintained by Deb Wills.
