While we wait to fulfill our dream of building a farm, I decided to play around here in cyberspace and share some of what we envision our farm to be like.

We are learning as much as we can now about gardening, composting and animal care at our present home. We are blessed with a big backyard!

So strap on your boots *careful where you step* and we'll show you around.

We try to spend as much time outside as we can! There is so much to do and we love being out in the fresh air and sunshine.

The girls never have trouble finding something to do outside. Are you kidding? There are too many things to climb on, run after, explore, investigate, poke at, build *you get the idea*.

The garden is really coming along. Each year we make it bigger and try our hand at growing a few new things. So far we have learned how to grow corn, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, pumpkins and watermelons. I really want to have a strawberry patch so I can learn to make my own preserves.

Now for the animals. A farm for us would not be complete without horses for Rachelle, lambs for Stacey, a cow or two, a little piggy just to have and as many others as they could talk us into! Oh, and don't forget some chickens!

Well, that's our little farm. Hope you enjoyed it. Sit down on the swing with me and have some lemonade before moving on to the next page. :)

We received this award 1/18/00.
Thank you, Kim!
