You sound like you do a lot with your troop. We did too in our troop. Everybody loved our Leader so I made my website about her and I put lots of fun stuff on it, too.

I returned to college for my bachelors in pulic relations and minors in multimedia. I needed to look for ideas on a web site for a www course. I am the leader on a cadette troop (#141) in North Pittsburgh and I thought that my project should be of somet ing I knew a lot about "GIRL SOUTS". I becane mezmorized by all of the cadette troops in PA and wanted to see what you all weredoing. Glad to hear you liked Pittsburgh. If your troop is up to encouraging a seventh grade cadette to continue in scouting nd wanting to work on interest badges, I would love you all for it. I had 11 girls and now have 9. Cliques at school tell them it is nerdy. You can use my e-mail address or write our troop at 131 Moss Court Pittsburgh, PA 15237. PS...Sept. 17-19 at th Monroeville ExpoMart (just east of Pgh.) will be having a "Women's Show" Giant Eagle Grocery Stores sponsor with tons of food samples, Eckerd Drug is there with tons of medical info and testing (simple ones for women) and JC Penney cuts hair for $10, fr e manicure and cosmetic make-overs. The are usually tons of clothing, jewelry, make-up, craft booths. To top off the days, the is a fashion show (usually run a couple of times a day. Lots of career info, too. If you ladies happen to show up, I will be working in the John Casablancasas Modelling and Career Ctr. booth on Friday (6-9PM) and Sunday (3-6PM). Saturday, I just hope to interest my girls. Our council has arranged for the availability to about seven b oths to help meet requirements of seven interest badges. My daughter Angelina (Angie) loves to go and spend the day. Istarted in Girl Scouts about 17 years ago when i was my daughter's leader, now she is still in scouts asis her daughter who is a Senior Girl Scout.Times have sure changed over the years.Ithink your Troops have a real nice page.

I have a Cadette troop. Troop#219 from Verona Pa. 15147. We are about an hour away from you.We are in a eastern suburb of Pittsburgh. My question is about the Silver Award. Is there a time frame on earning the Award. I have a 9th grader who says she ants to earn the award and I'm wondering if ther is enough time left in the year for her to earn it. Thanks

Good beginning. I'll return to see what new is added. ALwsy looking for ideas for field trips and Silver Awards. keep up the good work. I also think it is important to sign guest books since that way the web page maker has ideas of how to improve.
