French Ancestors of Anna Rosella Obry (Aubry) of Darke County, Ohio, U.S.A.

Anna Obry (Aubry) was born in 1855 in Darke County, Ohio and raised in the French immigrant community there.  Her mother and father had both  left France with their parents about 15 years previously.  The two  families were from small towns near Verdun in the departments of either the Meuse or Meurthe-et-Moselle (both part of Lorraine) in northeast France.
