A Resource for Adopting
Children
Helpful Resources
Almost everyone hopes they will adopt a healthy and normal child, but a few kids do come with unknown problems. You are wise to look into potential problems ahead of time, and even to locate local adoption support groups, and people like pediatric specialists and mental health professionals who are knowledgeable about possible adoption issues. Being prepared does not curse you or doom you to receiving a child with problems, but it can save time and frustration if you are prepared ahead of time. The faster a child gets treatment, the faster they can recover and live a better quality life.
