On Weds.( Oct 13) Ryans 10 year b-day we went on a kind of pilgrammage to a ladys house ...Rosa Lopez...a woman who claims to have apparitions of the Blessed Mother for about the last 7 years. Laura, its hard to describe the magical,frightening and yet eaceful feelings there. The people are such believers and I know you expressed an interest in learning more so I want to give you some websites in case you'd like to look them up. Also I picked up copies of the messages of Mary to Rosa each month and I wi l send them to you if you like. I just felt the strong urge to tell you this w/o it being on the one-list and then low and behold your e-mail had the blue link and I accidently checked it out for the first time. Lovingly, Muriel P.S. true story....when Casey was in an incubator struggling to thrive A mother of 8 whose baby was a preemie had progressed enough to go home, gave me a rel. scapular to put on Caseys incubator. Laura ...he started gaining weight and had less and less ep sodes of apnea. When when he got ready to come home I gave a mother whose daughter was 1 lb. and not expected to make it. ( when tiny babies are born they put a strip of adhesive tape on both sides of their torsos to conserve bodyheat and preserve skin in egrity. This poor baby girl was accidently cut with scissors while the nurse was changing tape. A cut right up the middle of her chest.) Laura, this nurse did this accidently but with heart problems already and then the chance of infection from the slice. ..they didn't think she'd survive... well I saw this little girl 2 years later at the peds. office and she was almost 10 lbs. more than Casey!!! The special thing about this scapular was that it was blessed by the Virgin on an apparition day at the lady R sa's house!!! Ever since then I always wanted to go to give thanks but didn't really make the effort till 10/13(the anniversary of the miracle of Fatima) and now I will try to go every 13th of the month and will bring Angel, my dh this Sunday hopefully.
