Garlic Potatoes

  • 6-8 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • vegetable oil
  • seasoned salt
  • garlic salt
  • 3 tablespoons of butter

    Peel and cut the potatoes in 1/4's Line the bottom of a roasting pan with oil,add the potatoes,season well add the onions.Top with the butter,cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours or until the potatoes are tender.

    Potatoes&Eggs

  • 8-10 potatoes peeled and sliced thin
  • 2-3 onions chopped
  • 12 eggs scrambled
  • oil for frying

    Fry the potatoes until tender,add the onions.Cook until the onions are transparent,add egss and keep mixing so the eggs will cook.Enjoy!

    Potato Casserole

  • 10 potatoes boil&cool,peel and grate when cooled
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 pint of sour cream
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt to your taste
  • pepper to your taste

    After grating the potatoes put in a 9 by 13 pan,mix all the remaining ingredients together pour over the potatoes. Top with crushed corn flakes or any crushed cereal.Dot with butter and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    Candied Sweet Potatoes

  • 10-15 sweet potaotes
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 stick of butter cut into pieces
  • 1 bottle of pancake syrup

    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4's, place them in a large roasting pan;top with the brown sugar,butter and pancake syrup. Bake until tender.(Recipe provided by my mom.)

    Scalloped Potatoes

  • 6-8 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can of creamy chicken mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can of milk
  • 1 -1 1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 -1/4 teaspoon of pepper (depends on your taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of seasoning salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

    Put the sliced potatoes in a casserole dish (grease bottom & sides). Combine the ingredients listed except the butter and pour over the potatoes; top with the butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours; stir after 1 1/2 hours.

    Baked Potato Wedges

  • 4 baking potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • seasoned salt (to your taste)

    Scrub the potatoes; do not peel them! Cut each potato into lenghtwise quarters. Dip each potato wedge into the melted butter covering each side well; arrange skin side down in a baking dish. Sprinkle with the seasoned salt. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until the potatoes are fork tender and golden brown.

    Sweet Potato Casserole

  • 1 can of sweet potatoes; drained
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 cup of milk TOPPING:
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/3 cup of flour

    Mash the sweet potatoes; add the other ingredients. Place in a butter baking dish. Mix the topping until crumbly and sprinkle over the sweet potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    Pan Fried Potatoes

  • 4 potatoes
  • salt to your taste
  • pepper to your taste
  • 1/3 cup of shortening
  • 1 onion, diced

    Wash and peel the potaotes; slice into thin slices. Season with salt and pepper; fry the potatoes in hot shortening. When the potatoes start to become tender add the onion and fry until the onion is tender.

    Oven Baked French Fries

  • 2 Pounds of potatoes
  • 1- 2 Tablespoons of Canola Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Garlic Salt to taste

    Wash the potatoes, leave the skins on them and slice them as thick or thin as you like to. Toss the potatoes in the oil and seasonings. Mix well. Spray a roasting pan with cooking spray, spread the potatoes out into a layer. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. Turn the potatoes as needed.

    Easy Hash Browns

  • 1 Bag of shredded frozen potatoes
  • Seasoning Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Onions, diced
  • Butter ( to your taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons of bacon grease

    Melt the butter and bacon grease in a skillet, add the potatoes, the onions, and the spices. Cook over meduim heat until potatoes are done. Great with any meal!
