This page is dedicated to the major family hobby of the Howard household.We've been working on being amateur genealogists for several years. Of course, it all started with our daughter and that lovely question, "What is a family tree?" Ever since that question we have been trying to trace the major surnames of our family to their respective entry into the "New World." We have found that genealogy is a great hands-on way of teaching some history, geography, internet technology, and much more to our whole family. Also, it helps to show the children about setting goals and trying to reach them on your own and with the help of others. We have found that some valuable lessons can be taught as well as assuring some family time together. The thrill of information exchange has led us to the WWW. It is our hope that through this format we can help others as well as get help through the free exchange of information. We hope you enjoy your visit and find what you need.

As this site develops, we will be adding some pages that are just for each member of our family and anything they want to add to our "cyber island." We are also hoping to add some aquarist pages later (as time permits) and a "links" page. However, time keeps going faster than we do. So, in order to get our page functional on the WWW, we are going on-line with the material we have completed and will be adding things on a regular (hopefully) basis.
