My Allen Line
My great grandmother's name was Syntursia(T.C.)
C.L. Allen, b. 1860-61, in Al. She was the daughter
of Absolom(Abner) Allen, b. 1818,in N.C. and Emeline
Hobbs, b. 1831, in Ga. She married Jethro Franklin
Hamlin and they had the following children:
a.)Romania
b.)Dephia
c.)Mollie
d.)Rose
e.)Silvan Hal
f.)Beady
Most of the above are buried at the "Union D Baptist
Church" in Clay Co., Al.
I have record of T.C. and Franklin's marriage.
I also found them in the census records.
Absolom Allen was born possibly in N.C. he
was a brickmason according to census records.
He first wed in Ga., in 1841, to Elizabeth
Blackwell. They had the following children:

All were born in Ga.
I next found the family of Absolom in Talladega Co.,
Al. census records.
Elizabeth must have died for Absolom married Emeline
Hobbs, in 1853, in Talladega Co., Al. Emeline was the
daughter of Charles H. Hobbs, b. 1803, and Rebecca
Tamlinson, b. 1803.
Absolom and Emeline's children were:
