Skip my little intro and get right to the slips.

There's a kind of magic about movies. They can transport us to another place, another time, another world. However, sometimes the people behind those films make a mistake, and the result is a jolt from the cinema world back into reality, a sobering reminder that even in the seemingly perfect world of movies, things aren't always perfect. And you can get a laugh out of it, too.

Of course, we know that moviemaking is a very involved process. And in an involved process, there are plenty of opportunities for things to happen. Scenes are shot out of order, actors may remove jewelry or loosen their tie between takes, crew members accidentally get into the shot, etc. It's a miracle that a seamless film is released at all, especially concerning films with lots of makeup or special effects.

It's not just older or low-budget flicks that gaffe, either. These slips include recent releases and big-budget movies. All it takes is a second for something to move out of place. Some slips are obvious, like a boom mike diving into the scene or a sudden costume change. Others are more subtle - bad plot logic, anachronisms, etc. This page has 'em all. Even inside jokes can count as slip-ups - they may be deliberate, but they still can jolt us back to reality, and therefore they make the page. True, some of these things seem more like nitpicking, but we are slip-spotters, and we know one when we see one.

The following are all slip-ups that I've found, unless otherwise noted. I hope you enjoy them.
