DUKE NUKEM 3D VS
DOOM 
You Decide.
Come on , it's been the
only talk since the magazines reviewed Duke 3D , is it a Doom
beater.
There has been many 3D games
often referred to as 'Doom Clones' but none had really what it
took to knock Doom 2 or Ultimate Doom off it's top spot. Hexen
came close but it's boring style of weapons and lack of real gore
let it down. Many predict Duke Nukem 3D as the next major 3D game
and some have even said that finally Doom has been beaten. Along
with obvious similarities , Doom 2 and Duke Nukem 3D are rather
different in terms of theme. Duke Nukem 3D is more of a fun-type
of action game where Duke himself provides amusement from his
speech and level environments are not as moody. Doom 2 however
has more of an errie and serious theme as it saw the main Hero
of the game , the space marine desperate to escape the dwells
of Hell , and lets face it.. we've all been spooked out while
playing Doom late at night once in a while now haven't we?!!
