New York Minute.......

Thanks for coming to this section... the first thing you might think of when you enter this page is 'what does New York Minute mean? What a stupid topic for a web page!'

Well... New York Minute is actually a song from the Eagles. When I first saw the song's name I thought that it was just another Eagles' country rck n' roll, until I heard the song and read the lyrics. Frankly, I was truly touched by this song. I remember when I saw the video of Eagles' Unplugged concert, right before the song 'New York Minute', Don Henley said something which I don't think I'd forget for the rest of my life. Just a few simple words he mentioned... but deeply meaningful; 'This song is about appreciating what you have'.

Harry got up, dressed all in black

Went down to the station, And he never came back

They found his clothing, Scattered somewhere down the track

And he won't be down on Wall Street in the morning

He had a home, The love of a girl

But men get lost sometimes, As years unfold

One day he crossed some line and he was too much in this world

But I guess it doesn't matter anymore

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

In a New York Minute,Things can get pretty strange

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

Lying here in the darkness, I hear the sirens wail

Somebody going to emergency, Somebody's going to jail

If you find somebody to love in this world you better hand on tooth and nail

The wolf is always at the door

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

In a New York Minute, Things can get a little strange

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

And in these days, When darkness falls early

And people rush home, To the ones they love

You better take a fool's advice, And tak care of your own

One day they're here; Next day they're gone

I pulled my coat around my shoulders, And took a walk down through the park

The leaves were falling around me, The groaning city in the gathering dark

On some solitary rock a desperate lover left his mark,

"Baby, I've changed. Please come back."

What the head makes cloudy, The heart makes very clear

The days were so much brighter, In the time when she was here

But I know there's somebody somewhere, Make these dark clouds disappear

Until that day, I have to believe I believe, I believe

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

In a New York Minute, You can get out of the rain

In a New York Minute, Everything can change

In a New York Minute..........

This song is specially dedicated to my dear girl-friend, Mei Yee who is waiting patiently in Malaysia for me. Sometimes I really think that I must have done God a pretty big favor before this to deserve a girl like her. Mei Yee, I promise you that I'll never be Harry in that song... he's just too foolish to cherish someone that loves him. I want you to know that even I'm far away, I still love you truly, deeply and madly and I'll be faithful to you. You have the whole world, well, at least those who visited this homepage to be your witness!! And I'm not ashamed to tell you that I love you more than anything else in this world... even my Peavey Predator guitar!!!!! See how precious you are?? :) And I expect you to love me forever too!!! Hope I'm not asking for too much.

I really thank you for making me feel loved for the very first time in my life and it really gave me the strength to go on with my life and studies even when I'm in far away land. I swear I'll be coming back for you, but I really need you to trust me on this, since I have nothing to proove my love to you....

Thanks for those who took time to visit this page.... I'm not trying to show-off or anything... i just want the whole world to know that how proud and happy I am to have such a wonderful partner. :) Nobody knows what will happen in the future.... but I really have faith in this and it looks real great and real strong to me. It's something which someone might not be able to experience in the whole of his/her life.... a thing we call love. I appreciate what you gave we Mei Yee, and I'll assure you that your love to me will not go wasted... and you can count on that.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone whom helped me made it to the United States of America, I might not be home now but... wait for me brothers, I'll be back in no time and we'll ROCK this place once again.

THE END
