And Starring...

The idea for this page began with a running joke between my friend MG and me concerning Aaron Lohr in a toga (don't ask!) and the story we are writing called "D4: A Newsie Adventure." In the course of our conversation (which was acutually a series of emails that we sent each other one night), MG suggested that maybe we could put Aaron in a movie about Antony and Cleopatra, with Aaron playing Antony and herself playing Cleopatra! So, I thought, why not see if we can come up with other movies to put our beloved Newsies actors in... And here's where you help me out: pick a movie...any movie...and replace the starring actors with the ACTORS (not the characters) from Newsies, plus whoever you want for the heroine (Ele Keats is perfectly acceptable, but if you want to put yourself in there, or, say, Alicia Silverstone, go right ahead!). For example:

Movie: Star Wars
Actors to replace: Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fischer (Princess Leia)
In their places: Matthew Fields (Luke), Christian Bale (Han), Ele Keats (Leia--and yes, I really can see her in this role!)

So do you get the picture? So have fun, and try to make it at least a LITTLE believable, and then check back in a while to see your entry on the page!

I'm going to try to get a survey form-thingy up here, but until I do, you can email any suggestions here.

RESULTS!!!

Movie: Scream
Actor to Replace: Skeet Ulrich (Billy Loomis)
