There are not only an abundance of fan-based Scream sites on the web. Dimension Films and Miramax are known for going all out when it comes to movie publicity. In order to market the trilogy, many official websites have popped up on the worldwide web. Below is a listing of the official Scream trilogy websites.

Sunrise Studios
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
This incredible website is a cut above the rest. "Sunrise Studios" is the fictitious film company behind the Stab trilogy (the films-within-the-films). Read up on the movies, as well as Sunrise's other horror flicks. Film clips and posters are even included.

The Gale Weathers Channel
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Spoof site number two perfectly captures everyone's favorite tabloid twit. Not as many goodies as "Sunrise Studios," but every bit as hilarious. Be sure to check out the "Ask Gale", "Interview," and "Y2K Resolutions" sections.

Sunrise Sucks
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
The third installment of the "Sunrise Studios" series takes a drive through the sleazy side of the fictional film company. Of course, it's all just a big stunt by Miramax to get you to watch Scream 3 -- but it sure is entertaining.

Scream 3: En Film de Wes Craven
France
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Even if you don't speak french you can still get a kick out of this nicely made webpage. Great graphics, and not as hard to load as some other "shocked" sites. There are plenty of goodies to wet your whistle with throughout the site.

Scream 3: The Album
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Did you like the music you heard in Scream 3? If the answer is yes, you will definitely enjoy this site. From audio and video clips to a message forum, the site gives you everything you would want to know about the bands on the album.

Scream 2 -- The Soundtrack
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
While the Scream 2 soundtrack site doesn't have as many features as the Scream 3 one, there are still enough to make any fan happy. Audio and video clips abound, as well as recordings of fans' actual screams.

Panico - A Trilogia
Brazil
Content:     Design:     Originality:
With an unofficial fan site flair, "Panico - A Trilogia" has a surprising amount of content for an official web site. Made for Brazilian Panico (Scream) fans, the website has everything from photographs of the trilogy characters to games.

Scream
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Dimension Film's Scream site gets high points on originality, of course. After all, it was the first page about the movie to pop up on the web. Highlights include the nifty little yearbook, serial killer hall of shame, and "A Stab in the Dark."

Scream 3 Game
UK
Content:     Design:     Originality:
The UK section of Dimension Films has brought us a very cool and original little game. More points would be given if this site had more information on the actual movie. However, the "Choose Your Own Adventure-style" game is a great little time waster.

Scream 3 Offizielle Homepage
Germany
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Perhaps the site is more entertaining to those fluent in German. This webpage contains a small gallery of photographs, four original desktop wallpapers, and the German trailer. Also included are summaries of all three Screammovies.

Scream 2
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
The usual studio-created movie website. Dimension Films has included both the theatrical and teaser trailers, short cast bios, viewer comments, and an interview with director Wes Craven. There are some fun interesting "hot links," as well.

Scream 3 Online Community
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Pretty darn useless if you ask me. The "online community" is simply a chat server. In order to talk to other fans (or people who just wander into that particular chat), you must download and install the "Big Red H" software.

Scream 3
USA
Content:     Design:     Originality:
Very, very sad. I certainly hope Dimension Films truly has more coming. The one page section merely has a blurry opening video and a link back to the main Dimension Films website. Disappointing for even a studio-based website.
