Important Names

Throughout this site, you may encounter some names that you're not familiar with. With this in mind, and not wanting to patronize those familiar with these individuals, I constructed this area.

In alphabetical order

Broccoli, Albert R.--Aka "Cubby" Broccoli. Producer for every Bond film from Dr. No to Goldeneye. Uncomfortable partner with Harry Saltzman, another Bond producer. Cubby died in 1996.

Caine, Michael--British actor best known (to me) as one of the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He also appeared alongside Sean in the sweeping, John Huston epic, The Man Who Would Be King. He is a lifelong friend of both Sean and Roger Moore.

Cilento, Diane--Sean's first wife, mother of Jason, divorced in 1973.

Connery, Jason--Sean's child from Diane Cilento, appeared as Ian Fleming in the TV movie, Spymaker: The Secret Life of Ian Fleming. Married to Mia Sara, from Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Fleming, Ian--Famous British novelist, best known for his most popular creation, James Bond.

Hepburn, Audrey--Famous and adored actress, starred alongside Sean in Robin and Marian. Known for her UNICEF work and several classic films including My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Lambert, Christopher--Charismatic French actor, best known for as Connor MacLeod, the immortal hero from the three Highlander films. His portrayal of Tarzan, in Greystoke, The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, is the definitive version of the character. He's been in several films including, Fortress, Knight Moves, The Hunted and Mortal Kombat.

Lazenby, George--Australian model, assumed the mantle of James Bond for one film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, generally regarded as one of the best of the series.

Moore, Roger--Charming British actor best know for his role as James Bond, which he reprised seven times (Live and Let Die, The Man With the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy and View to a Kill). Roger's Bond films were notably removed from the world of hard-edged intrigue apparent in Sean's. A long time friend of Sean and Michael Caine. He's Also remembered as Simon Templar in The Saint, a popular, sixties, spy drama.

Roquebrune, Micheline--French artist, Sean's second, and current, wife whom he met while playing golf, and married in 1975.

Saltzman, Harry--Bond producer from Dr. No to The Man With the Golden Gun.

Shaw, Robert--Famous actor, starred as Red Grant in From Russia With Love and The Sheriff in Robin and Marian, both with Sean. Also remembered for his portrayal of the crotchety, old sailor in Jaws.

Williamson, Nicol--British actor who most recently appeared in the film, Spawn, as the medieval/knight spawn. He's been in numerous films, most notably, Robin and Marian as Little John and Excalibur as Merlin. He's also known, especially to British theatre-goers, for his portrayal of Hamlet.
