An Interview With Jewel (a small one)
What do you like best about acting?
The gratitude, the fun of being someone else for a while.
In your bio, you said that you like to write. What kind of stuff
do you like to write?
I write modern romances(nothing too gushy), and medieval stuff
Do you think we will see any of your stuff on the shelves any
time soon?
I doubt that. It's not my main focus,
What kind of stuff are you doing ring now? (career wise)
I'm just auditioning for a bunch of projects, and taking singing and acting
lessons.
What do you think would be your "dream role"?
Something like Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. I would love to do that.
Who would you want to co-star in your "dream role"?
Leonardo DiCaprio of course :) Someone like that...a "leading man"
type.
What do you think has been your favorite role? Why?
I can't really pick a favorite, but my favorites are Catalina and Becca,
because both are so much fun to play. They have a lot of background.
Who do you count as your "close friends"?
My closest friends are very select. Right now there are a couple in each
city I've been to; specifically Natanya Ross and Nils Larson in LA, Anna
Marie and Paige in Vancouver, Matt (Roland on FF) and Melody( Maxine on
FF) and Asia in Toronto...I think thats it for now.
Do you get to see your friends a lot, or are you usually on
the road?
I dont get to see them a lot, no. But they try and come to visit. Melody
gets to come a lot because her dad's a pilot.
If there was one thing you could change in your life, what would
it be?
Thats tough...... I would have to say leaving my friends and family behind.
That's the hardest part. I wish I could take them along for the ride with
me.
