A note about "Goldie" stories. Goldie is a character that's almost as old as I am. She was created almost directly after I saw Newsies for the first time, and became such a large part of my personality that to write in this genre without her makes me feel weird. Goldie is an extention of myself, but vastly different at the same time. Call her my alter-ego, she is kind of that, but as I get older, I find myself becoming more and more like her. It's both a good and bad thing, in the end. In any case, all of these stories are the same Goldie, and yet different Goldies. They all stem from the same place, but are Goldie/me in different situations, with different backgrounds so you can see how she'd act in different ways. Call it psychology, if you will, because my understanding of how I could create different Goldies out of the same idea was my the foundation of my understanding of psychology. ::shrugs:: bet you never thought I might be smart under all that fake accent. -Goldilocks Henderson, 8-15-2001
