I've studied basic astrology for approximately 14 years, so I think the following profiles will be accurate.

ARIES
Me, me, me is all they think about! They are the first sign of the zodiac symbolizing birth and infancy. Accordingly, their behavior is similar to the egocentricism of babies. They think the world should revolve around them. Much like children, they are filled with fantasy and dreams of what may be.

Aries is symbolized by the Ram. They do everything head first. They are highly competitive and energetic. They love nothing more than a good head-butting match. Don't ever play a game with an Aries that they might lose, if they do...it won't end there. They'll want a rematch again and again.

Aries is a fire sign. This is responsible for their volatile nature, their outbursts of rage. They are quick to display their temper (much like a tantrum).

One thing is certain, they are a fun, adventurous and stoic with great strength of personality.

Aries rules the head, so they should always wear their helmets and be watchful of headaches.

You can sometimes recognize Aries by their pointy eyebrows that slant down in the middle. They are not quiet, they may have a "ruddy" complexion, they are usually the bossy ones who want everything their way, but are quite charismatic in getting it.



TAURUS
Money is their middle name. They stash it away wisely in mutual funds and RRSPs...they spend a lot of time building their solid nest egg. Taureans are business-minded and shrewd. They are stubborn and stingy.

Taureans like to get their hands dirty..even the women. They like to dig and build. They are down to earth people with great patience. They are home bodies who don't care too much whether they see the whole world. They concentrate on the beauty of their surroundings.

Taureans like the best of everything...they will pay high prices for quality. It takes a lot for them to part with their money, so the item that they buy will be looked at as an investment.

Taurus is symbolized by the Bull. A taurean is slow to anger, like a bull...but when they do become angry, get out of their way! No one wants to be in the bull's path when it's hooves beat the earth and horns point forth to gut you. That's not a pretty picture of course, but neither is the Taurus temper. It will rarely rear its ugly head, but when it does, you'll be sorry.

You can recognize Taureans in two ways: either they are rail-thin and tiny with a personality and stubbornness that is visibly larger than they are, or they will be barrel-shaped people with "thick" heads/necks. One telling feature is if they have a little "bulb" on the end of their nose. W.C. Fields for example. Better yet...what better Taurus then Barbara Streisand? She is determined not to perform in public. How often has that happened since she decided that? Isn't she a formidable businesswoman? That's our Taurus.

Taurus rules the neck (this would be responsible for Barbara's incredible voice..the vocal chords are in the neck). They should watch out for afflictions of the throat, whiplash and such. Also, this will be the Taurean's favourite place to be touched. See how that works? *smile*

GEMINI
Geminis have a dual nature. It is the sign of the Twins...and is proven by the opposite forces that seem to guide each Gemini. First and foremost, all Geminis have a vulnerable nervous system. They are susceptible to stress and guilt that will often manifest itself with nervous symptoms. For example, bad nerves will cause a variety of health problems including manic depression, anxiety, panic disorders etc. May also be the root of dependencies on substances to cope with stress.

Geminis are typically intelligent, often brilliant academically. However, they have a superficial nature...to put it bluntly, "shallow" and not deeply committed to any one person or project.

The females are quite feminine...and adventurous. The men usually don't have a problem with communication as Gemini's main focus is communication.

The part of the body that is ruled by Gemini are the arms. Be careful about breaking them and about developing carpal tunnel syndrome.

Marilyn Monroe was a Gemini. So is my Mom and my best friend. (Although, I will omit my best friend from the "shallow" reference. *smile*)

CANCER
Moodier than Gemini!! Can you imagine?!

The Cancerian is very similar to Taurus. They too enjoy finery, being at home and money. The difference between Taurus and Cancer is that Taurus is an earth sign while Cancer is a water sign. Earth signs tend to be solid and no-nonsense. Water signs tend to be "running with emotions" and very sensitive.

A Cancer likes to worry and always needs reassurance (I'm beginning to think that I have some prominent Moon influences as I type this *laugh*). They put up a tough front, but are quite tender underneath (does that make you think of a shell? It should since Cancer is symbolized by the Crab).

A Cancer friend will always be there for you. They are one of the most loyal people of the zodiac (aside from Leo's).

Cancerians are the collectors of the zodiac. Check around their house...there's a collection of something hidden somewhere. It's probably something of value like collector Plates for example. Perhaps art if they're rich.

Cancers are not so easy to recognize since they are somewhat quiet. I usually use the process of elimination. Definitely check for jewellery. Taureans and Cancers alike wear lots of sentimental, real-gold type jewellery. Where Leos tend to go for the costume jewellery, Cancers will wear the Family rings and birthstones.

Cancer rules the chest. The women may be prone to breast cancer, large breasts...the men may concentrate on that feature when they bodybuild. It is their errogenous zone.

LEO
Grandiose, generous, kings and queens of the zodiac!

Leos are magnanimous individuals with great power of charisma. They are Large people. Not always physically, but in a general way. They are the perfect host/hostesses of the big party of life. Leos are born leaders. They stand out in any crowd.

Leos are always laughing in great outbursts or they are storming around casting thunder and lightning over everyone's day. They are full of play. There are some Leos who are doing this quietly, but you can be sure the great laughter and storms are going on inside them.

A Leo likes to spend money in a grand fashion. They will always try to pick up the tab or treat a friend when they're not expecting. If a Leo is hurt, the pain will be like a thorn in the paw and you won't see the sunshine that they are for many days.
Leos have one of the most volatile tempers of all the zodiac. More so than Aries, which is a close second. The Leo temper may be violent, but definitely always loud. Imagine the roar of a lion when the lion is angered. How much does it take to tick off a lion? Do you want to find out?

Leos are easily recognized in a crowd. Look to the hairline first, this is a dead giveaway. They will have that "dracula" outline...the hair comes forward on the head and recedes a bit on the side corners. Also, look at the face...it is usually rounded and reminiscent of the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz. If it's a woman, look for how they dress...do they dress to be noticed? Do they have long hair brushed back off their forehead? Do they have a feline look in their eyes? Let's talk Madonna here. A grandiose, charismatic Lioness.

Leo rules the upper back and the heart. Leo needs to be extra careful when lifting heavy objects and take care of their heart muscle.

VIRGO
Perfectionists aplenty! You will not find a speck of dust in a Virgoan home. They are obsessively clean and tidy. Look at how they dress...they are perfectly matching, fully accessorized (not too much) and well-groomed. They are organized all of the time.

Virgos have discipline in training. They usually finish what they start and they don't do a half-assed job. My best friend is a Virgo and she has taken so many lessons that I can't count anymore. If athletic, they push themselves to the limit.

They are all sensitive. The men are not afraid to show their emotions. The men don't even mind shopping with you!

Virgos are practical. There is purpose in everything they do. They are incredibly focused on every detail.

Virgos are just as picky about their personal habits and try to do all that is healthy for them.

You can recognize Virgo by being the most "put together" person who carries around a daytimer or practical wallet. (you wanna talk ultimate Virgo? my friend Paul. He carries a daytimer, his water bottle and a set of nail clippers everywhere he goes, that right there covers about 3 traits all at once! and I know Stephanie will read this and agree!)

Virgo rules the stomach. They are most likely to be stomach-ill when a sickness takes hold of them. They probably have great abs!

LIBRA
Librans are full of beauty and romance. They are tranquil and contemplative. Librans surround themselves with soft beauty and relaxing things. These people enjoy lounging and doing something quiet and enjoyable.

Librans have difficulty making decisions. They are symbolized by the Scales. They are always weighing both sides of an issue and take so much time doing so that they bypass the deadline for making the decision. They are also great procrastinators. Some call Librans "lazy". I say that they are still trying to decide what to do first.

Librans are concerned about justice. They do their best to be fair to everyone. They are also extremely good at being objective.

Librans are also concerned about their looks...more so than others. They will wear the quality labels more often than not. They don't really care that the label may represent status, but a mark of quality.

Librans are very calm and hardly ever show a temper of any kind.

Libra rules the lower back. This includes the kidney region. Librans should always be careful when lifting, always sleep on a quality mattress and have a loved one massage their back before bed.

SCORPIO
Beware of Scorpions!

This is a very complex sign. They are "deep" with many emotional layers. They possess a smouldering cunning that is ready to strike out at any person that wrongs them. The Scorpio is voted "most likely to turn on you in a second".

Sensuality and a deep affinity with the forces of nature reside in these people. They look great in purple.

The men will be magnets of sexuality... burning desire always lurking under their surface. The women will have a strong sexual drive...hardly ever will you hear "honey, I have a headache".

Scorpio rules the genitalia. Nuff Said.

How do you recognize a Scorpio? They're the ones with no hips or a thick waist...not fat, that's not what I mean...they just go "straight down" with no curvature of the hip. Usually.

SAGGITARIUS
That's me!

A saggitarian is always acting silly, laughing or telling a story/joke that they think is funny. They are the entertainers of the Zodiac. They are also incredibly clumsy, both physically and verbally. Verbally, they are always finding a way to put their foot in their mouth! How can you be graceful when you're a centaur?!

The Centaur aiming his bow to the stars is what symbolizes Saggitarius. This can be seen in the way Saggitarians argue, their arrows finding your weakness and penetrating it. It can also be seen in the way Saggitarians work towards a goal. They choose something lofty and shoot for it. Just look at my goals, there's no better example!

Saggitarians crave travel and adventure. Travel can be as minute as a drive in the country to a trip around the world. As long as they're out of regular fishbowl, they're happy.

Saggitarians are fire signs and do possess the usual Fire-Sign temperament of extremes. Saggitarians are capable of tempers just as the others, but it's not monumental like Leo or Taurus.

Saggitarians are fun people who are clowning around and having a great time at whatever they're doing.

You can usually recognize a Saggitarian by their really long legs that they trip over all the time, or they're natural pear-shape. Saggitarius rules the hips and thighs which can spell grief for some of us.

CAPRICORN
Capricorn is symbolized by the Goat, forever striving to get to higher levels. We can observe Capricorns as status-seekers who will be motivated to always be improving their status in society through money, prestige and power.

Capricorn likes to have control over things. They feel that no one can do a better job than they can when it comes to giving appropriate direction to others. The mothers will be very motherly and have a large role in who their children will be seen with and what their children will do.

The Capricorn husband may be the one who has the mid-life crisis and takes a younger woman as a trophy of his success as a powerful man.

Capricorns are generally very sick as children; plagued with illnesses that seem to last. This lessens as they get older.

Capricorns are usually thin people with sharp features.

Capricorns pride themselves on being "very moral". That's why they think they're the best people to be leading others.

I'm wondering if Donald Trump is a Capricorn. I bet Aaron Spelling is too!

AQUARIUS

Aquarians are future-minded, scientific, friendly types. An Aquarian is an intellect and a conversationalist, although a little 'flighty' sometimes.

Aquarians are hair people. They will take great pride in their hair, growing it long, constantly fussing over it. They will pay the extra money to go to a salon and get all the wonderful treatments to keep their hair shining and healthy.

Aquarians are friendly and sociable.

Aquarius rules the shins and ankles. This means that they need to be careful of sprained ankles, broken legs/ankles. Aquarius also rules circulation...so some may suffer from poor circulation and are constantly swathed in sweaters.

PISCES

Secrets...that is what Pisceans are all about.

A Piscean likes to have a secret. They enjoy knowing that not even their closest friends know all about them. Sometimes they will even purposely deceive, just for the sake of deception. For example, they might tell you that they're going to the store, when really they're going to the library. It's the fact that you don't know that makes them do it. There's nothing underhanded about it.

Pisceans are emotionally complex people who are easily depressed. Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac, and just as Aries represents birth, Pisces represents death. That doesn't mean they're going to die, but they have an "inherent wisdom" about them sometimes.

Pisceans are people who will either sink to the bottom of life, or rise to the top.

Pisces rules the feet. These people should always wear sensible shoes and will suffer from bunions, fallen arches and the like. Pisceans will be putty in your hands after a foot massage.
