"Shawna snap out of it!Nothing will happen to the plan calm down will ya.Come on I'll help you finish packing then your mom can bring me home." Cayla and Shawna walked out of the locker room to meet Cindy(Shawna's mom). They passed some basketball players and congratulated them on their victorious season. The guys thanked them and congratulated them on their first place win at Masena cheerleading competition.
At Shawna's house....
"Girls are you done yet?"said Cindy while entering the room. "No mom not yet I still have to pack my laptop computer,some more cloths,some cd's,and my abundance of homework. I can't believe my teachers gave me so much work! Here mom this bag is ready to be labelled." "Okay finish up and bring the rest out.Keep in mind we're going for three weeks not three years,Shawna." "Yes mom;Come on Cayla let's call Jess and see what she's doing.Maybe she can come over and help us." Says Shawna picking up the phone.
Jess answers, "Hello?" "Hey Jess what are you doing?"Shawna asks as Cayla picks up the phone in the living room."Yah,we need you to come help us pack." "Pack for what?"Jess asks "I'm going to Maine remember? That's all I talked about today. Didn't you hear a word I said?" "Yes of course I heard you today but I thought you'd be packed already. Aren't you leaving tomorrow?When's your flight?Are you comming the school?How long are you going for? I wish I was going."Jess said with an envious voice.
"My moms picking me up at school during lunch to go to the airport. The flight leaves at 1:00 and I'm staying for three weeks in a condo on the beach. I'm going to celebrate my birthday down there too." Shawna answered "And I am totally excited!" Jess ran to ask her mom but she couldn't."Boy I wish I had a car." And with that we said our goodbyes and hung up. Shawna finished packing and went to bed.
