IMAGES ON THE WEB SUMMARISED
- For use on web pages, images must be in an internet-readable compact format, such as GIF or JPEG.
- If they are not, you can generally use image software to convert them.
- Try to make your image files as small as possible to avoid long delays in downloading over the internet.
- As a rough guide, aim to keep image file sizes below about 10K bytes, wherever possible.
- Hopefully my web site will give you more of an insight to what types of images are used on the web.
