JaimeB's Poetry Page

Believe in whatever you want. Then let me do the same.

-JaimeB

Before you read my work, I ask that you respect my rights to my stories, poems and original creations. Graphics, sounds and publicly-accessed texts are different; people borrow and swap them all of the time. Individual writing takes time and creativity. Do not steal my work- remember, if you found my page, I can easily find yours. If you give credit to my work, then you can post it on a personal home page.

I am a teen writer with plans to publish books somewhere in the near future. Some of the work on this page and my fiction page will not be my own, and I will recognize the authors appropriately. I just want a space to present pieces that are impressive to me. As of now, it's pretty short, but I will add stuff frequently. I guess this poem fits well as an introduction. It foretells what will come later. Enjoy =)

Perspectives

JaimeB

When you are young

And your senses

Of up and down

Good and bad

Right and wrong

Are not yet fixed

You possess a power

Adults seldom have

All you need to do

Is turn yourself

Upside-down

To see the world

A little differently.
