Some bio data sent by Angela Castro: " Brendan in 29 years old, his birth day is 12/03/68-the year of the monkey-.He was born in Indianapolis, IN but was raised in various Canadian and European cities due to his father's job-a Canadian Tourism Beaurocrat. He is a Canadian and American citizen. He went to school all over the world-he likens himself to an "army brat", but since his father was in tourism he calls himself a "brochure brat". Laugh, it is his one joke.... He fell in love with acting and theatre while living in London around the age of 13. He went to high school at Upper Canada College a prep school in Toronto..his family eventually settled in Seattle with his 3 older brothers. He went to Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, he was part of the Actor's Conservatory there, he specilized in physical acting. His first part came by being in Seattle, he was hired as Sailor #1 in the Warner Bros. Film "Dogfight" starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor. He had one line and got thrown into a pinball machine but it got him his Screen Actor's Guild card and an extra $50.00 for the stunts! He acted in Seattle at various theatres, worked some odd jobs-he once got a hernia busing tables at concert full of Hell's Angels and he once juggled at department stores at Christmas time-but he ultimatley accepted a Scholarship to Southern Methodis University in Dallas, Texas to a graduate program there- but he wanted to drive to LA first.... He drove to LA in his mom's borrowed Chevy Spectrum and within a year and a half had done 2 TV movies: Child of Darkness Child of Light and Guilty Until Proven Innocent, School Ties and Encino Man...needless to say he wrote SMU and said he wouldn't be attending. Brendan has made more than 20 movies and acted in various plays-in the last 6 years. He has played everything from a caveman, a religious fanactic, a heavy-metal idiot, a hired killer, a vietnam vet, the king of the jungle, a college kid, a wrongly convicted juvenile in prison, and the romantic guy we all know he is...and he was wonderful in all of these ventures. He likes to change from role to role, he went from being George of the Jungle to Clay Boone in Gods and Monsters with Ian McKellen and Lynn Redgrave , a ex-marine who is the gardener for the director of the Hollywood classics Frankenstein and The Invisible Man...this retired, sick, and disturbed director lures Brendan in to his life , "much like the spider did the fly" says Brendan. His next project is a movie called Blast to the Past, and after that it may be a remake of the horror classic The Mummy! Brendan is a shy person, who guards his personal life but who also has a great sense of humor. He is intelligent yet still conveys an essance of wide-eyed innocence.
